Our Double Strength Madagascar "Bourbon Islands" Vanilla Extract is made using twice the amount of premium bourbon vanilla beans as single strength. Double strength is the vanilla extract of choice to use when making cheesecakes, ice creams, gelato, cakes, cookies and custards. A small amount added to melted butter makes a delicious dipping sauce for seafood. One tablespoon of vanilla extract is equivalent to two vanilla beans.
