What is a Spiced Wine & Spiced Cider Kit?
Our Spiced Wine & Spiced Cider Kit is a delightful package that includes all the necessary ingredients to create deliciously spiced cider or mulled wine. Inside, you'll find a generous 1oz portion of our carefully curated mulling spice blend, along with a convenient muslin bag and cinnamon sticks. We also provide you with a recipe card to guide you through the process of making approximately two gallons of spiced cider or mulled wine.

Ingredients: Our blend contains a harmonious combination of cinnamon, allspice, orange peel, cloves, and cardamom, expertly selected to infuse your beverage with warm and aromatic flavors.
How to Make Mulled Apple Cider
3 Tbsp. Mulling Spice Blend tied in cheesecloth or placed in muslin bag.
1 cup Maple Syrup or 1 cup dark brown sugar.
2 quarts (1/2 gallon) Unfiltered Apple Cider (not juice)
Juice from ½ Lemon
1 cup Dark Rum (optional)
Directions:
Pour apple cider into a large saucepan, add maple syrup or brown sugar and stir until dissolved, then add Mulling Spice Blend and bring almost to a boil. Add lemon juice.
Reduce the heat to its lowest setting and simmer for 30 minutes, or alternatively you may transfer hot cider to crock pot and simmer on low through the day.
Instant Pot - Place all ingredients in Instant Pot, stir well until sugar dissolves and set for 20 minutes high pressure. Natural or quick release as you prefer.
**If adding rum do so at very end or simply add ½ ounce to cup before ladling in hot cider.
Mulled German Wine
3 Tbsp. Mulling Spice Blend tied in cheesecloth or placed in muslin bag.
1 medium lemon sliced.
1 medium orange sliced.
1 medium red apple sliced into rings.
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar.
1 1/4 cups water
2 (750-milliliter) bottles dry red wine
1 cup brandy
Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Directions:
Place the Mulling Spice Blend bundle in the saucepan, add the sugar and water and place the pan over med-high heat bringing to a simmer stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced by about one-third, about 20 minutes.
Add the red wine and brandy, sliced lemon, orange and apple, stir to combine, and bring just to a simmer (don’t let it boil). Remove from the heat and remove and discard the spice bundle, lemon slices and orange slices before serving but leave apple for a beautiful presentation. Ladle into cups and garnish with cinnamon sticks. Alternately the recipe can be prepared in a crock pot set to low and enjoyed throughout the day.
