Description

Temple of Heaven Gunpowder is one of the most popular green teas throughout Asia. Our harvesters use a special rolling technique to craft these shiny, compact nuggets of tea out of the freshest, sweetest leaves. The result is immaculately clean, translucent liquor with a smooth, round taste followed by the subtle aftertaste of fresh green leaves. Our gunpowder is very forgiving with subtle chocolaty notes and less grassy undertones than other green teas. Best steeped hot.

Steeping Instructions: 1-1.5 tsp, 175-185 degrees for 2-3 Minutes

This is definitely one of the best and affordable greens I've had. I tried a few different ones from a couple of other tea places and whole paycheck before I landed on this one. It's super affordable for the quality and it's my everyday green. I can steep 3 or 4 times and it's not bitter. I quit coffee since my doctor said I needed to and that green tea is better for me. It was tough at first but it's a lot easier when you find some you actually like. I pretty much thought all green tea was awful until I found this one.
