Description
The Licorice Root we carry is commonly used by the do it yourself home tea blender and is cut into the perfect 1/4-inch size. Since this is root make sure you steep it for at least ten minutes or more. Licorice root does not taste like licorice candy but is very, very sweet and can be added to tea blends for a natural and intense sweetness. In cases of high blood pressure excessive consumption of licorice root should be avoided.
Steeping Instructions: 1-1.5 tsp, Boiling Water, 12-15 Minutes

* Licorice root is very sweet and does not taste like traditional licorice. If looking for the taste of black licorice please consider Star Anise or Anise Seeds to achieve the desired effect.
