Ingredients: Bleached wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, salt, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, calcium sulphate), sugar, pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, coriander, cloves, caraway). Contains: Wheat.

Preparation Instructions:

1 cup whipping cream
Floured cutting board
Baking sheet

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In large bowl combine scone mix with 1 cup whipping cream.

Gently mix until sticky ball forms.

Turn onto floured cutting board, knead about 10 times.

Pat into a circle 1 inch thick; cut into 8 large or 16 small wedges.

Place onto baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes, until lightly brown.

Serve with butter, jam, or your favorite topping.

Optional Glaze:
2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoon milk or whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup lightly toasted shelled pumpkin seeds (pepitas), for topping
Whisk together sugar, milk, and vanilla extract and drizzle over cooled scones and sprinkle on toasted pumpkin seeds

    My kids and I love these scones. The glaze is fantastic and we like to use the pumpkin curd when we run out of the glaze. I only wish it was available more often so I guess I'll have to load up next time.
